Hello and welcome to our 4th newsletter, the 2nd of the month! Firstly a little apology - we mentioned in the last newsletter the forthcoming Rory tribute events in Holland and Germany, and whilst these are featured on the website news page, these weren't in the actual newsletter - doh! So to correct this, here ya go, wishing all who are organising, performing at and attending these events a wonderful time: Heesmkerk, Netherlands, on Saturday November 18th 2006, featuring three live bands: The Signal; Bullfrog Taste Express; and Moonchild. The venue has a website at www.donkeyheemskerk.nl and you can e-mail publiciteit@donkeyheemskerk.nl for more information. There is also a major event here on March 3rd 2007 and details of this will be made public on Saturday night. Saturday November 25th 2006 is the date for a Rory celebration at Wiesbaden, Germany. Playing live will be 'Sinkicker', 'Knott And Kugler', and 'The Loop', with other special guests. Net proceeds from this event and the tombola will be donated to Barenherz Childrens Hospice. The 'RockChic exhibition in Dublin will feature 32 of Rory's guitars and also a few of his amps, as part of a quite outstanding guitar exhibition sub-titled 'The Life And Times Of The Electric Guitar 1931 - 2006'. The exhibition runs from November 24th 2006 to January 21st 2007 and is planned to move to Harrods, Knightsbridge, after Dublin to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Way-In department, which Rory and Taste played the launch gig for in '67. The venue is The National Museum Of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7. Admission is free.
