Kristyna & The Truetones - £4
The ‘delightfully silky smooth tones’ of 23 year-old singer/songwriter Kristyna Myles accompanied by 8 piece band, The Truetones. This “jazzy pop-soul act” - compiled whilst all studying on the Popular Music and Recording BA Hons degree course at Salford University – promises an uplifting infusion of gospel-inspired r&b and popular appeal jazz.
In the twelve months since being discovered busking on Manchester's Market Street and winning the BBC 5 Live 'Busk Idol' competition Kristyna has performed at the Big Issue Unplugged gig at London's Brixton Academy, appeared on BBC1's Songs of Praise show, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, appeared on UKTV Gold's Wogan: Now & Then and performed across Europe with multi-platinum selling recording artist Chris de Burgh on an eleven date tour of Germany, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg. This impressive resume shows Kristyna and The Truetones is a gig not to be missed!

Anyone who has followed the north-west music scene over the last few years will have without doubt come across the fantastic band that were ‘The Maker’. Well here they are back after a rest with a new name, new music and a slightly altered line up.
