UK Tour - Supporting The Twang

Sheffield and Brum unite for National tour as Little Man Tate are announced as main support for Birmingham’s The Twang through October 2007!

After the much reported shenanigans of the bands recent appearance at Jersey Live – backstage Jacuzzi action and parading naked around the vip areas - it seems there could be no better outing for the highly strung Yorkshire four piece to embark on next.

Kicking off in a week’s time at the Newcastle Academy and running through to November 3rd in Southampton, The Twang’s UK tour is set to take the 24 hour party ethos of both bands into overdrive. With both sets of fans matching their bands level of ‘excitement’ at shows….this is sure to be one of the liveliest tours of the year.

A recent Guardian.com feature about both bands and their live stature commented – ‘…in a world where modern culture is so controlled, so predictable, so hidebound to mass marketing or notions of cool, any grass roots movement that refuses to buckle under and be told what to listen to has to be a good thing’.

Little Man Tate are currently writing and recording the follow up to debut album ‘About What You Know’ in their hometown of Sheffield. Already ten tracks into the recordings, the bands second album is tentatively scheduled for a release in Spring 2008.
