Hello Kids

Just a quick update regarding all things roomthirteen related.

The Verge Feb 4th

There tickets available for our next gig which is at the Verge above the Cheshire Ring in Hyde on Feb 4th. We have two supports bands with us that night. Firstly the rather lovely Detours are opening the night. We are also dead dead chuffed to have Jack one our favourite bands with us that night as well. You would mad to miss this night so come on down and pick a piece of pop pie and feast with us Just to repeat Feb 4th at the Verge above the Cheshire Ring 72 Manchester Road,Hyde, Cheshire, SK14 2BJ. Tickets a re available from the venue, from a roomie or alternatively go to ticketline. For £5 that has to represent a bargain in these cash starved times.

Album

The new album continues at a pace. All the tracks in some state of finish or close to some state of finish. We are dead dead pleased with what we have so far. We have been including a lot of the new songs in the live set. It has become apparent that these new songs are slowly becoming the back bone of what we here at roomie HQ consider to be a set full of tip top pop tunes.

easterlinparadox is still available for the roomies shop or to download through i-tunes and some other good download retail outlets. Mind you it is also available at dsome not so good download outlets as well.

Get your lovely T shirt.

They would look good gracing the cat walks of Milan, Paris, New York and London so lets talk about roomie pop music. For one of therse stylish yet chic fashion items go to www.roomthirteen.net click on the shop page and treat yourself to a special edition roomthirteen t shirt. At ten pounds a pop you would be clinically insane if you didn't.

Other roomie and non roomie but it is really roomie type stuff

Some of the chaps are currently playing in other bands and these are well worth a look at. John our resident singer and style icon occasionally steps out with Suburban Daze so keep your peepers peeled for gigs. Keith the cool one also plays with the Mighty Nelson. They have an album due out any day now and are also out and about giggin so again keep your eyes peeled for a full Nelson assault (see what we did there)

Yes my friend there is truth in the rumour that those crusty old pop renegades Yootha Joyce are reforming for a one off gig. Both John and Brian will don the uber-chic fashions of the nineties and once again dance and reel to the sounds of Manchester's best kept secret. (that is code for no one had ever really heard of them) The band are reforming to raise money for the Winnie Mabaso Foundation. (The roomies fave charity) So don't miss this date 21st April at the Verge.

Speaking of all things charity related the song 'something to believe in' is still available to download from i-tunes. All monies raised go the Winnie Mabaso Foundation. For more information go to www.winniemabaso.org

Hope to see you soon kids. Peace Love and Harmonies from all of us here at roomie HQ
